Can clients book appointments themselves?

Yes. Share your booking page link and clients can select an appointment type, pick an available date and time, fill in an intake form, and book instantly. No Foodzilla account is needed to book.

Which calendars does it sync with?

Foodzilla natively integrates with Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook Calendar. Appointments sync both ways — your calendar events block off availability, and new bookings appear on your calendar automatically.

Can I accept payments for appointments?

Yes. Connect your Stripe account and set a price for each appointment type. Clients pay securely at the time of booking. You can also offer free appointment types alongside paid ones.

Do clients need to download an app to book?

No. The booking page is a web page that works in any browser, and no account is needed to book from it. Existing clients get more choice: they can book, reschedule, and cancel from the Foodzilla mobile app or the client portal as well.

How do video meetings work?

Set an appointment type to Foodzilla Meet and the platform does the rest: a meeting link is created when the client books and included in their confirmation email and reminders. Nobody needs an account or a download, and clients can join from the mobile app or the client portal as well. If you prefer Google Meet, connect your Google account in the Integrations tab and links are generated there instead.

What stops two clients booking the same slot?

Foodzilla checks the slot again at the moment a booking is saved, which is what catches two people picking the same time within a second of each other. Only one goes through, and the other person is told the time has just gone before any payment is taken. If a clash ever does slip past, you get an email and see it flagged on your agenda, so you can sort it out yourself.

What happens if a client does not confirm they are attending?

Reminders ask clients to confirm attendance with one tap. You can set an appointment type to cancel automatically when a booking has not been confirmed in time, which releases the slot for someone else. Anyone who misses a session without cancelling is marked as a no-show on the appointment, so repeat patterns are easy to spot.
