Candida Diet Meal Plan
A week that drops sugar, refined carbohydrate, and alcohol, and puts anti-fungal foods and probiotics on the plate. Use it when you are managing candida overgrowth as part of a wider plan. Edit it in Foodzilla.
7-day anti-candida week
Less sugar for the yeast. More food for the rest of the body.
What the candida diet is
Candida is a yeast that lives in the gut, mouth, and on skin. Beneficial bacteria and a working immune system usually keep it in check. A high-sugar diet, antibiotics, chronic stress, or a weak immune system can let it overgrow. Symptoms people report: gut trouble, fatigue, brain fog, recurrent yeast infections, and skin problems.
The diet starves the yeast of sugar, refined carbohydrate, and alcohol, and uses garlic, coconut oil, and probiotic foods. It is a nutrition approach, not a proven standalone cure. Use it with medical care.
Three phases
- Focus on raw salads, steamed vegetables, and bone broth
- Eliminate all sugars, grains, and processed foods
- Drink plenty of water, herbal tea, and lemon water
- Follow the full candida diet food list below
- Focus on anti-fungal foods and probiotics
- The 7-day meal plan below follows this phase
- Slowly reintroduce foods one at a time
- Monitor symptoms for 3 days after each reintroduction
- Maintain a low-sugar, whole-foods approach long term
- Sugar (all types: white, brown, honey, maple syrup, agave)
- Alcohol (all types)
- Refined grains (white bread, pasta, white rice)
- High-sugar fruits (bananas, grapes, mangoes, dried fruit)

Practical notes
- Start with the stricter cleanse days if you are using a phased protocol.
- Prep on the weekend: proteins, chopped vegetables, dressings.
- Put garlic, coconut oil, and ginger on the plate most days.
- A probiotic supplement can sit next to the food. That is a clinical call.
- At least 8 glasses of water a day.
- Read labels. Sugar hides as dextrose, maltose, sucrose, and high-fructose corn syrup.
- Die-off symptoms such as headache, fatigue, and mild nausea can show in week one. They are not proof the diet is working, and they are not a reason to ignore a worsening client.
