Add Foodzilla to your Grok Bots

Add Foodzilla once as a custom connector at grok.com/connectors, then switch it on for each Bot that needs it. Foodzilla's endpoint is public HTTPS, which Grok Bot requires. We haven't tested Grok Bot end to end yet, but its connectors support everything Foodzilla needs.

Integration Features

1

Put Foodzilla to work in a Bot

Give a Bot Foodzilla tools for recipes, meal plan templates, forms, bookings and account settings. Foodzilla supplies the nutrition figures.

2

One connector for every Bot

Connectors belong to your Grok account. Add Foodzilla once, then choose which Bots can use it.

3

Sign in through the browser

Grok opens Foodzilla's sign-in page in your browser. The consent page shows whether you're granting coach or client access.

How to Connect

1

Go to grok.com/connectors and add a custom connector. Don't use the Bot's Plugins page.

2

Name it Foodzilla and set the URL to https://api.foodzilla.io/mcp. Only add headers if your account setup needs them.

3

Sign in to Foodzilla in the browser and check the account and access on the consent page.

4

Switch the connector on for the Bot. On a team, check that the MCP allowlist includes Foodzilla.

What You Get with Foodzilla

One connector you can switch on for any of your Grok Bots.
Foodzilla's endpoint is already public HTTPS, so there's nothing for you to host.
Coach and client access use separate OAuth tokens.
Nutrition data from Foodzilla's food database, not from Grok.
Included on Professional and higher Foodzilla plans at no extra cost.
