Permanently Delete Client Data
Need to fully remove a client and their data for compliance purposes? Foodzilla now lets you permanently delete clients from the system — removing their profile, meal plans, messages, tracking history, and every associated record. This action is irreversible, so it is designed with confirmation safeguards to prevent accidental use.
Permanent Data Deletion for Compliance
Regulatory frameworks like GDPR grant individuals the right to erasure — also known as the right to be forgotten. When a client or patient requests full removal of their data, Foodzilla gives you the tools to honour that request directly from your dashboard.
- Fulfil GDPR right-to-erasure requests directly in Foodzilla.
- Comply with data protection regulations across jurisdictions.
- Demonstrate accountability with a clear deletion workflow.
- No need to contact support — perform the action yourself.
What Gets Deleted
When you permanently delete a client, every piece of data associated with that individual is removed from the system. This includes their profile information, all meal plans and recipes assigned to them, secure messages, session notes, uploaded files, food diary entries, body measurements, progress photos, and any other tracked data.
The deletion is thorough and complete — once confirmed, there is no partial data left behind. This ensures you can confidently certify full erasure if a regulatory body or the client themselves requests confirmation.
Safety Guardrails
Because permanent deletion is irreversible, Foodzilla includes confirmation steps to prevent accidental data loss. You must explicitly confirm the action before it is carried out, and the interface clearly communicates that the operation cannot be undone.
We recommend exporting any data you may need for your records before initiating permanent deletion. Once the process is complete, neither you nor Foodzilla support can recover the removed information.
