Client Management Disabled
All client-facing features are disabled, including client profiles, invitations, health tracking, messaging, and the client portal. This ensures no protected health information (PHI) ever enters the platform. You use Foodzilla purely as a recipe and meal plan tool.
Locked-Down Environment
HIPAA accounts run in a locked-down environment focused exclusively on the core features: meal planning, recipes, and food management. All non-essential features are disabled to minimize the surface area and ensure no protected health information can enter the platform.
No PHI in Transit
Because client management and health tracking are disabled, no protected health information ever passes through our infrastructure. The only data flowing through the platform is generic recipe and nutritional content.
Business Associate Agreement
Foodzilla will sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with your organization. While the HIPAA plan is designed so that no PHI enters the system, we provide this additional layer of compliance assurance for your peace of mind.
Export & Share Securely
Download meal plans as PDFs and share them with patients through your hospital or clinic's own HIPAA-compliant communication channels (EHR portals, secure email, etc.). Foodzilla never handles the patient-facing delivery.
