How Do I Change or Update a Client’s Email Address?

Currently, you cannot directly edit or update a client’s email address once it’s added.

This is because the email address is the unique login ID for each client.


✅ What to Do Instead

If a client’s email address changes, you’ll need to:

  1. Archive the existing client profile.
    • Go to Clients page → go the client’s card → click … → Archive.
  2. Add the client as a new client using their new email address.
    • Go to Clients page → Add Client, and enter the updated email.

This ensures the client receives a fresh invitation and can log in with the new email as their username.


💡 Tip

  • Before archiving, you can download or export important information (e.g., meal plans, notes) to re-add to the new profile if needed.
  • If you only archive, the client still counts toward your client limit.

    To free up spots, make sure to delete the archived client when you no longer need their records.
