Creating and Sharing Notes & Files

Struggling to organize client notes scattered across Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and physical notepads? Foodzilla offers a seamless solution to store all your client notes and files in one place, ensuring they’re organized and easily accessible.

Key Features:

  • Centralized Storage: Keep all client details securely stored, preventing loss of information.
  • File Uploads: Attach files (up to 100MB) directly to client notes for easy access.
  • Privacy by Default: Notes and files are private unless you choose to share them with your clients. For more on sharing, refer to our Sharing Notes section.

How to Add Notes or Files:

  1. Navigate to the Clients page and select a client to view their details.
  2. Click on Notes.
  3. Click on New Note.
  4. Fill in the details and click Save. Only the “Title” field is mandatory; all other fields are optional.
  5. To share notes, toggle the Share with Client switch.

Viewing and Managing Notes:

  • Your notes and files will appear in the client's details section.
  • Edit or delete notes by clicking the '…' button next to each note. Please note that deleting a note will also remove any associated file.

Sharing Notes & Files:

  • To share notes with a client, enable the 'Share with Client' switch when creating or editing a note.
  • Shared notes will appear in your client’s mobile app, where they can view and edit them.
  • Use this feature to share specific details like dietary preferences, allergies, or any other critical information.
  • Clients can also create their own private notes within the mobile app.
