Setting Up Your Availability
Foodzilla Bookings lets you control exactly when clients can book appointments with you. You can set your regular weekly hours, add multiple time blocks, create date specific overrides, and control how far in advance clients can book.
Set Your Default Working Hours
- Go to Forms & Bookings
- Open the Bookings tab
- Select Availability
- Set your working hours for each day of the week
- Turn individual days on or off depending on when you accept bookings
For example, you might be available:
• Monday to Thursday, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Friday, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday unavailable
Make sure your selected time zone is correct, as this controls how your availability is displayed and calculated.
-
Add Multiple Time Blocks
If you are available at different times during the same day, click the + button to add another availability block.
For example:
• 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
This is useful if you want to block out lunch, meetings, school runs, or other breaks during the day.
Use Date Overrides
Use Date Overrides when your availability is different from your normal weekly schedule.
For example, you can:
• Take a day off
• Make yourself available on a normally unavailable day
• Work shorter hours on a particular date
• Add temporary availability for a specific day
Click Add a date override, choose the date, then set the availability you want for that day.
Set Booking Limits
You can also control when clients are allowed to book.
- Minimum Notice
Set how much notice a client must give before booking.
For example, setting this to 24 hours prevents clients from booking appointments less than 24 hours in advance.
- Max Advance Booking
Set how far into the future clients can make a booking.
For example, setting this to 60 days allows clients to book up to 60 days ahead.
These settings apply as defaults across your booking page, although individual booking types can have their own availability and booking rules.
Custom Availability for Booking Types
Each booking type can use your default working hours or its own custom schedule.
This is useful if you offer different services at different times, such as:
• Initial consultations
• Follow up sessions
• Check ins
• Different practitioner services
Tips
- Make sure your start time is earlier than your end time for each availability block.
- Review your selected time zone before sharing your booking page with clients.
- Use date overrides for temporary schedule changes instead of editing your normal weekly hours.
