How to Track Body Measurements and Client Progress in Foodzilla
Foodzilla lets you track more than just weight. You can record body measurements, body fat percentage, weight, and progress photos to monitor changes over time.
Measurements You Can Track
You can record:
• Hips
• Waist
• Thighs
• Biceps
• Neck
• Chest
• Body fat percentage
*Weight and progress photos are managed in the same progress area.
Choose Metric or Imperial Units
Go to Profile → Preferences to choose between metric and imperial measurements.
Your selected unit preference is used when recording client measurements.
How Coaches Can Log Measurements
- Go to the Clients page.
- Open the client’s dashboard.
- Use the Body Measurements section to review weight, body fat, measurement history, and progress photos.
- Use the More menu to log weight or update the client’s body details.
How Clients Can Log Their Own Progress
Clients can log information such as weight, body fat, and progress photos through the Foodzilla mobile app when Body Tracking is enabled in their App Experience.
You can enable this feature for all clients or customise it for individual clients.
Use the Progress Check and Body Measurements Form
You can also send clients the Progress Check and Body Measurements smart form.
When the client submits the form, their measurements are automatically added to their measurement history, helping you build an ongoing progress record without manually entering each result.
This can be especially useful for regular weekly or fortnightly check ins.
Review Progress Over Time
Open the client dashboard and adjust the date or period filters to review their progress.
Measurements are stored as historical data, allowing you to monitor trends rather than viewing each measurement as a one off entry.
What Happens if a Client Is Archived or Deactivated?
Archiving a client does not remove their measurement history.
If a client is deactivated, they lose access to Foodzilla, but their data can still be recovered if you reactivate them later.
