How Do I Import a MyFitnessPal Food Diary Into Foodzilla?
If your client prefers logging their food in MyFitnessPal, you can import their nutrition data into Foodzilla using a CSV file.
Foodzilla supports food diary imports from MyFitnessPal, as well as other apps that export a compatible daily nutrition summary CSV.
How to Export Nutrition Data From MyFitnessPal
- Open MyFitnessPal on the web
- Go to Reports
- Select Export Data
- Choose Nutrition
- Select the date range you want to export
- Download the CSV file
Import the CSV Into Foodzilla
- Go to the client’s profile in Foodzilla
- Click More
- Select Import Food Log
- Drag and drop the nutrition CSV into the upload area, or click to browse your files
- Wait for the import to complete
You can also select View the sample CSV format before uploading if you want to check the required structure.
Using Other Food Tracking Apps
The import is not limited to MyFitnessPal. You can also upload data from another food tracking app if it exports a daily nutrition summary CSV in the same supported format.
This gives clients the flexibility to continue using their preferred food logging app while allowing you to review their nutrition data inside Foodzilla.
