How to Modify Client Health Goals

Foodzilla lets you set detailed health, nutrition, serving size, and diet preference goals for each client. These settings help guide meal planning, track progress, and personalise recommendations.

You can manage everything from Clients → select a client → Health & Diet Goals.

  1. Health Goals

Open the Health tab to manage the client’s broader health targets.

You can update:

Weight Goal

General Health Goals

To edit weight, body fat, or steps, click the pencil icon on the relevant card, update the target, and save.

You can also click Add Goals to choose from preset health goals or add a custom goal.

Foodzilla also shows how the client’s daily target is calculated based on their current health information and selected goal.

  1. Nutrition Goals

Open the Nutrition tab to manage daily nutrition targets.

You can set or adjust:

• Daily Energy In

Click the pencil icon on any goal to edit it.

Foodzilla also displays recommended intake values based on the selected RDI Source, such as age, gender, and country.

You can open BMR Formula & Macro Ratios to review or customise how calorie and macro targets are calculated.

  1. Serving Size Goals

The Serving Sizes tab lets you set daily food group targets, including:

• Grains and bread

• Vegetables

• Animal milk and dairy

• Fruit

• Animal protein and alternatives

These targets can be adjusted individually to match the client’s nutrition plan.

  1. Diet Preferences

The Diet Preferences tab helps personalise meal planning based on the client’s dietary needs and lifestyle.

You can set:

• Health and allergy preferences

• Custom dietary preferences

• Favourite foods

• Foods to avoid

• Favourite cuisines

• Cooking confidence

• Weekly food budget

• Household size

These preferences can be used when generating meal plans so recommendations better match the client’s needs.

Restrict Client Access

If you do not want clients changing certain health or nutrition settings themselves, you can control their access through App Experience.

This can be configured globally or for individual clients. Learn more about customizing the client experience here.
