How to Update Foodzilla in Your Browser
Refreshing the web page or clicking "Update Now" on the update release popup usually updates you to the latest version of Foodzilla. However, sometimes browsers don't pull the latest update due to caching. Here's how to ensure you're running the latest version of Foodzilla.

Why Force an Update?
Foodzilla is a web application accessed via browsers like Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox. Frequent updates can lead to "stale" version issues due to browser caching, where an older version of the web app is served to you.
What is Caching?
Caching is a technique used by web browsers to save internet bandwidth by storing versions of web applications locally. The browser decides whether to update the application version, but sometimes it gets this wrong, resulting in users accessing outdated versions.
Note: We use cache-busting techniques to force browsers to download the latest version, but manual intervention may still be necessary due to the complexity of cache invalidation, which is one of the hardest problems in computer science.
