Auto-Generate Grocery Lists
Clients can easily generate grocery lists from their meal plans. This feature is available to all our customers on any paid plan. Grocery lists are also created when generating meal plans and templates, and PDFs.
Enabling Grocery Lists in the Mobile App
- Assign a Meal Plan:
- To enable the grocery list feature for your clients, you must assign a meal plan to them.
- If your client already has a meal plan, no further action is needed. If not, create and assign a meal plan following this article.
- Access the Grocery List:
- Once assigned, your client can open the mobile app, go to the Meal Plan section, and tap on the Grocery List button.

Using the Grocery List
On the grocery list screen, clients can:
- Change the Date Range:
- Clients can select any date range using the calendar.
- Adjust Serving Amounts:
- Modify the serving size for meals to match the number of people they are shopping for. The ingredient amounts will auto-calculate accordingly.
- Select/Deselect Meals:
- View meals within the chosen time period and select or deselect them from the grocery list. Ingredients will be recalculated automatically.
- Check/Uncheck Ingredients:

Tap on ingredients to cross them off the list as they shop.
Note: Ingredients are categorized for easier reading and shopping. Measurements depend on the meal and can include grams, ounces, cups, etc.

Grocery Lists in Meal Plan PDFs
When you print a meal plan, a grocery list will be automatically generated. If you wish to disable this feature, you can do so from the PDF settings view.
