Import a Meal Plan from a Template

Meal Plan Templates enable you to quickly create and reuse meal plans for multiple clients. This article will guide you through importing a meal plan from an existing template, whether it’s one of your own or from our template database.


Importing from Template Database

  1. Navigate to Meal Plans:
    • Go to the Meal Plans tab.
    • Select the client for whom you want to import the meal plan.
    • Click on the "Import From Template" button.

      TIP: Using templates saves time and ensures consistency across multiple clients

  2. Choosing a Template:
    • Select the "Start date" for the meal plan.
    • Click on the "Template Database" tab to view available templates.
    • Each template displays the daily calorie count, and any food restrictions.
    • Click on your chosen template. It will be highlighted with a green border.

  1. Importing the Template:
    • Click the "Import Template" button.
    • Wait for the meal plan to be generated.
    • Once complete, you'll be redirected to the meal plan details page.

Note: Make sure to review the imported meal plan for any necessary adjustments before finalizing it for your client.


Importing from My Templates

If you have your own templates, follow the same steps as above:

  1. Navigate to Meal Plans:
    • Go to the Meal Plans tab.
    • Select the client.
    • Click on the "Import From Template" button.
  2. Choosing a Template:
    • Select the "Start date".
    • Click on the "My Templates" tab instead of the "Template Database" tab.
    • Select your template, indicated by a green border.
  3. Importing the Template:
    • Click the "Import Template" button.
    • Wait for the generation process.
    • You will be redirected to the meal plan details page once it’s ready.

By using the template feature, you can efficiently manage and customize meal plans for your clients, saving time and ensuring high-quality nutrition guidance.
