Turning the Content Hub On or Off for Your Clients

The Content Hub is one of the features you can show or hide in App Experience, alongside Messaging, Bookings and Forms. You can switch it off for one client, or for everybody on your team.

Where the switch lives

You will find Content Hub under the Communication section, next to Messaging.

  • For everybody. Open Client App Settings from the Clients page and switch it there. This applies to every client on your team.
  • For one client. Open the client, choose App Experience from More Options, and switch it there. A setting on a client overrides the team-wide one, so you can hide the hub from everyone and still leave it on for one person, or the other way around.

Both pages have a preview so you can see what a client will get before you save.

What happens when you hide it

The Content Hub disappears from that client's mobile app and from their client portal. There is no empty section and no explanation, it is simply not there.

Hiding it does not delete anything. Your posts stay exactly as they are, and switching it back on brings the hub back with everything in it.

What a client keeps if you hide it

A post a client has already paid for stays theirs. Turning the Content Hub off is not a refund, and neither is moving to a plan without it. The purchase survives both.

What they lose while it is off is the hub itself, so they cannot reach the post until you switch it back on.

For the same reason, a client with the Content Hub switched off cannot buy a new post. There would be nowhere for them to read it.

When the toggle is locked

The Content Hub toggle needs the White Label plan or a Team plan, the same plans that let you publish in the first place. On any other plan the toggle is locked.

Your plan is checked every time a client opens their hub, not just on the day you published. If your team moves to a plan without the Content Hub, your clients stop seeing it straight away, and they see it again if you move back.

Store plans can hide it too

If one of your store plans excludes the Content Hub, a client who subscribes to that plan gets it switched off automatically, and the setting lands on their own App Experience. It is worth checking there first if a client says the hub has vanished and you did not touch their settings.
