Posting to the Content Hub from the Coach App

The Foodzilla Coach app has a Content tab so you can post without going back to a desk. It is built for what actually happens on a phone: a clip you just shot, a photo from a workshop, a quick note.

Finding it

Open the app and tap Content, the third tab along. If you do not see it, your plan does not include the Content Hub. It needs the White Label plan or a Team plan.

The first time you open it you get a screen headed Age confirmation, asking you to confirm that every client you share content with is 18 or older. You only do this once. If you already confirmed on the web, the app does not ask again.

What the list shows

Every post your team has, newest first, with drafts and archived posts mixed in. Each row shows the format, the title, its badges (Draft, Archived, Pinned, In plans, or the price), how long ago it went up, its tags and its reactions.

There is no search and no filter here. Use the web platform when you need to find one particular post in a long list.

Writing a post

Tap New post.

1. Media. Four buttons: Take photo, Record video, From library and Attach PDF. A counter shows how many of your 10 slots are used. Each attachment gets a thumbnail, an X to remove it, and an optional description field for screen readers.
2. Title. The only field you must fill in.
3. Message. Optional, up to 10,000 characters, with a counter that warns you when you are near the end.
4. Tags. Tap existing tags to apply them, or type a new name and tap Add to create and apply it in one go.
5. Who can see this. Free or Paid. Paid needs a connected Stripe account, which is set up on the web.
6. Price, if you chose Paid. Your store currency is shown rather than chosen.

Then Publish, or Save as draft to finish it later.

Keep the screen open while media uploads. A video also needs a minute or two to process afterwards.

Recording video

Recording in the app runs at 720p on iPhone, which keeps several minutes comfortably inside the 200MB limit. On Android the quality is whatever your camera app is set to, so a 4K clip can hit the limit in about a minute. Either way the app checks the file and tells you before it tries to upload.

What else you can do from the phone

• Edit a post: title, message, media, tags, and price.
• Pin and Unpin a published post, up to three at a time.
• Archive and Restore, from the post or by pressing and holding its row.
• Delete a post, with a confirmation. This is the only place a post can be deleted.
• See the numbers: views, sales or reactions, conversion, revenue and your buyers.

What you need the web platform for

• Plan Included access. The app only offers Free and Paid. Set up a plan-included post on the web, and edit it there too, or saving from the phone will switch it to Free.
• Deleting or renaming a tag. You can create and apply tags here, but deleting one takes it off every post your team has, which is not a thing to do next to a keyboard.
• Connecting Stripe.
• Searching and filtering your posts.
• Watching a video or reading a PDF you posted. The app opens both in your browser rather than playing them inline.
