How to Convert a Week of a Meal Plan Into a Template

With Foodzilla, you can convert a single week of a meal plan or the entire meal plan into a reusable template. This is perfect if you’ve created a great structure and want to use it again with future clients or meal plans.

How to Convert a Week Into a Template

  1. Open the meal plan you’d like to save.
  2. Navigate to the week you want to reuse.
  3. Go to Details tab and give the template a clear name.
  4. Click More... > Convert Week to Template.
  5. The week is now saved in your Templates library for future use.

How to Convert the Entire Plan Into a Template

  1. Open the meal plan you’d like to save.
  2. Go to Details tab and give the template a clear name.
  3. Click More... > Convert to Template.
  4. It will appear in your Templates section for reuse.



Tips

  • Use descriptive names (e.g., High Protein Week 1 or Vegetarian Week A) to keep your library organized.
  • Combine weekly templates into cycles if you want to create longer programs.
  • You can still edit templates anytime before applying them to new plans.
